Manifested Mediterranean Brick Oasis

These homeowners moved from the city of San Francisco to the wilds of Berkeley and were excited to have a yard. However due to covid times and labor shortages, the work on their home took much longer than expected. By the time we got there, they had finally moved into their new home after waiting close to a year, and were itching to put in place the final touches of landscaping. Keeping in the Mediterranean style of the home, we installed a classic red brick patio, and a gold pathway walkway that could bring them to different areas of the yard. Despite the available space, the roots of the neighbor’s large oak tree took up a lot of planting real estate, but we were able to remedy that by creating a planting island in the middle of the pathway to plant a Japanese Maple, as well as a variety of other beautiful flowers and colorful plants.
