Steps Back to the Old World

John grew up doing this old school style of stonework with his Italian father, and Sicilian grandfather. This kind of work takes skill, talent, and a good eye for picking just the right stone. It also takes precision and planning, as steps will be walked on daily, so safety and ease of use is also important. Although we don’t often do these kinds of old world projects as much these days, we do still like to include it in with our work as it’s always important to look back on where you come from, in order to appreciate where you are.
