Whenever the interior of a property undergoes a major renovation, the exterior can often be left in a state of disarray. This is the best time to call in a landscape design and build company as we can turn a construction zone back into a beautiful yard for enjoyment and relaxation. For these homeowners we added in more parking using ¾ inch drain rock, bordered by a San Francisco cobble wall. The cobbles had actually been collected by the owner’s friend, who was a mail carrier in SF! We installed two flagstone patios with natural edges, a larger one with space for multiple seating, and a smaller “satellite” patio nook, perfect for 1-2. We also worked with the mature plants that had survived the remodel, and added in quite a few more; as well as installing an intensive irrigation system needed to water the new and mature plants effectively.
